I’m conflicted on writing this review - I don’t believe in drinking and driving because I think it’s a selfish thing to do. That being said, my daughter was arrested for a DUI and failed the breathalyzer. All my friends said no attorney is getting her off this. Well, they never meet Atty. Delsignore - he was brilliant when it came to trial, no other word to describe it. I would also like to add, the clerk at the courthouse told my daughter she had a good attorney and that he was a nice guy. I pray to god I never need Atty. My child was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor while attending a concert. We are from out of state and had no legal experience. After being arrested for an OUI I spoke to several attorneys. I was even referred to an at- torney by an officer at the local county jail where I was processed. This so-called “great attorney” advised me to pay him $800 and plead guilty. Not having such a great driving history, I was facing potential jail time and loss of my dream job. Attorney Delsignore answered all my questions and I decided to use him. He challenged the roadblock I was stopped at based upon two conditions-the officer had no right to ask me to pull over and the roadblock was not set up legally. The judge a couple weeks to render a decision, which was not in our favor. Atty. Delsignore noticed that the breathalyzer paperwork wasn’t correct and proceeded to challenge it. In a hearing which took about 1 minute the breathalyzer evidence was thrown out! We then took the case to trial based upon the FST observations of the officer. Once again he was extremely aggressive in his opening statement, cross-examination and closing statement. It took a jury of 7, 4 minutes to reach a NOT GUILTY verdict. A probation officer with 27 years experience informed me that he never seen an attorney do such a great job. Atty. Delsignore is extremely knowl- edgeable of the law, jury selection process, and the courts he works at. My case lasted almost 2 years. At one point I gave up and decided to plead guilty.
